The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar is located in the province of Almería, in the south-eastern corner of Andalusia. You can arrive by car from Madrid (highway NI to Valencia, detour to Albacete towards Murcia, in Murcia the Mediterranean highway to Almería). Or take the highway from Madrid to Granada and then to Almeria. From Barcelona you take the Mediterranean highway. From Málaga you take the highway to Almería. Almería has a bus and a train station, and an airport. There are interesting flight offers to Alicante and Málaga from all main European cities. At the airport you can rent a car for the trip to Almeria and your visit to Cabo de Gata.

From Barcelona: Mediterranean Highway (A-7. E-15)
Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia direction to Almería.

From Madrid: Highway direction to Murcia and then Mediterranean Highway.

From Sevilla, Granada: Autobahn A-92 Richtung Almería.
Vor Almería die Autopista Mediterranean Highwaydirection to Murcia (A-7, E-15)

From Málaga: Highway and National Roado the Coast up to Mediterranean Highway direction to Murcia (A-7. E-15)

To all: Exit the Mediterranean Motorway (A-7. E-15) at exit No 471 towards San Jose.

Follow owards San Jose and go through La Boca de Los Frailes.
Approx. 1km then there is a large intersection, turn left towards Camping Los Escullos, La Isleta, Rodalquilar.

Approx. 2 km later, exit left at the detour to Las Presillas. Up on the small road to the village and park in the parking of the village.

We advise you to have a means of transportation (car or motorbike) in the Presillas. It will allow you to visit to the beaches, villages or other places of interest more easily (distances are never more than 15-25 kilometres). You can use a map to get to Las Presillas - there are adequate signs and indications along the way. We also reproduce a small map in this web page.
